In an tragic incident on Tuesday night when a man was fatally pushed off the Yeshwantpur-Bidar Express near Bengaluru.
The victim, an unidentified male around 30 years old, died instantly after being thrown from the speeding train during a heated argument over seating.

Altercation Over Seating Turns Deadly
The Yeshwantpur-Bidar Express departed from Yeshwantpur station at 7:15 PM on Tuesday. In the general coach, the victim struggled to find a seat and attempted to sit in the passage near the toilet.
However, two passengers, S. Devappa (45), a gardener, and H. Peerappa (31), a painter—both residents of Sedam in Kalaburagi district—were already occupying the space.An argument broke out when the victim requested room to sit.
The dispute escalated quickly, and between Yelahanka and Gauribidanur stations, the two accused allegedly pushed him off the moving train.

Eyewitness Reports and Police Action
A passenger who witnessed the horrifying event immediately called the police control room to report the crime.
The Railway Police launched a search operation on Tuesday night, but due to darkness and uncertainty about the exact location, the victim’s body could not be located.On Wednesday morning, authorities discovered the body and transported it to Victoria Hospital mortuary.

Case Registered, Accused Arrested
Following a complaint from a 28-year-old eyewitness from Channarayapatana in Hassan, the Bengaluru Rural Railway Police registered a case of murder under Section 103 of the BNS.
The accused, Devappa and Peerappa, were arrested and taken into custody. Further investigation is underway.
